Crypto Prop Firms Explained: API Trading, Bybit, USDT Payouts

By Jacob Walder (pen name), last checked 2026-10-13

TL;DR

  • Crypto prop firms give you a funded account to trade crypto pairs.
  • Some run on exchange infrastructure (for example Bybit) or a broker platform.
  • Leverage is usually far lower than forex.
  • Payouts are often in USDT or other crypto.
  • Crypto runs 24/7, so daily limits reset at a fixed time.

Honest risk note: most challenge buyers fail. Nothing here is financial advice.

How they work

Same model as forex: pay for an evaluation, hit a target under loss limits, then trade a funded account for a profit split. Differences: 24/7 markets, crypto pairs, lower leverage, and often crypto payouts. Each firm states its platform on its own site; see the table for what we verified.

API and bots

Some crypto firms allow API connections or automation; others ban it. Only rely on the firm's written rule. Our table shows the EAs/bots and platform fields where verified; blank means not verified.
